When making a presentation to a retailer, I’m able to look at them and say, we have two off-the-shelf platforms available. We have the cornerstone series, which is a very basic price point product. It comes in 7, 10, 13, and 15-inch lengths, 6061 aluminum with a steel barrel nut that’s included. The Cornerstone price points are between $70 and $95 from an MSRP basis.
We then step up to the foundation collection. The foundation collection has two differences. Number one has anti-rotation tabs on it, in addition to a fitment system that is a steel-on-steel fastener. We use the same four sizes: 7, 10, 13, and 15 inch, and the MSRP’s are between $72 and $104, when it comes to showing the cornerstone in the foundation collection and putting them up against import products, there’s no question that the engineering and the quality and the design is clearly different, not just price points, but the actual product itself.
